Sycamore Learning Cooperative has been awarded a VELA Education Fund Grant for 2023!
VELA Fund Grant Recipient!
We are thrilled to announce that Sycamore Learning Cooperative has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the VELA Education Fund! The VELA Fund supports everyday entrepreneurs in unconventional education. Since the beginning of this vision we had for Sycamore (waaaay back in 2014), we've wanted our programming to be accessible to all, regardless of ability to pay. This grant helps us expand our class offerings and provide financial assistance to those in need. We believe every family deserves access to educational choices and opportunities. We are honored to receive this award.
Somerset Location Opening September 2023
As we close the doors and say goodbye to the place we have called home for the last two years in Baltimore, Ohio, we are working hard on renovating our new building in the Village of Somerset, Ohio! We are downsizing our square footage quite a bit, but we are looking forward to a more cozy and intimate learning environment. Our new location will be home to our weekly Homeschool Co-op, as well as our new Homeschool Enrichment Program. We also look forward to hosting evening and weekend classes, workshops, and events for our community members. Stay tuned for news about those classes and a calendar of upcoming events.
Sycamore Outdoor Openings!
Our weekly homeschool nature program, Sycamore Outdoor, has a few openings left for our 2023-24 school year. We currently have the following groups that meet in or around the central and southeast Ohio areas. All ages are welcome. If you are interested in learning more or registering, please head to the "Sycamore Outdoor" page on our website.
Mondays: North Columbus- 3:00 pm
Tuesdays: Pickerington/ Canal Winchester/ Lancaster- 1:30 pm
Thursdays: Pickerington/ Canal Winchester/ Baltimore- 1:30 pm
Fridays: Somerset/ New Lexington- 1:30 pm
